Enjoy the Convenience of Electronic Giving

Cornerstone is currently offering electronic giving as a way to automate your regular weekly offering. Electronic giving offers convenience for individual congregation members and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.

Direct Debit Giving is used to automatically transfer funds from your checking or savings account to the church’s bank account.

Credit Card Giving lets you make offerings automatically on a predetermined schedule using a credit card.

As you contemplate future contributions, please consider electronic giving. An authorization form can be downloaded here. (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader or equivalent PDF reader).   If you would like to participate in Electronic Giving, please fill out the form and return to Elizabeth Hughes or Faron Trick. Please contact Elizabeth Hughes This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We also have additional FAQ information that has been prepared for your review!  Please click here to review the FAQ on electronic giving (requires Microsoft Word).

The Vision of Cornerstone

Where is God leading us?   What is our vision?

We are called to go on God s Grand Adventure:

  1. Go out and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28).
  2. Make a joyful noise and celebrate God s presence in the world.
  3. Glorify God and enjoy him forever.
  4. Discover our gifts and talents as unique and valuable in ministry.
  5. Love God and our neighbors with all our heart, mind, and soul.
  6. Educate and equip people in Jesus teachings to grow and serve.
  7. Share the good news of Jesus love.
  8. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Luke 10).
  9. Take care of God's creation and environment as good stewards.
  10. Be generous givers: to share our gifts and financial resources.
  11. Dedicate ourselves as partners of shalom (peace and well-being).
  12. Free the oppressed; heal the sick, and correct injustice.

Statements of Belief: What do We Affirm?

  1. God's love and salvation is in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, our solid rock!
"For God so loved the world that God sent his son into the world that the world might be saved by him"  (John 3:16).
  2. We belong to this community of faith as a cornerstone, chosen and precious, and whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame (I Peter 2:4).
  3. We are called by the Holy Spirit (under the authority of Scripture) to spread the Word of God.
  4. The Bible is God's authoritative witness and truth.
  5. We are all children of God committed to creating a caring community in Jackson and the world  (Galatians 3:23-26).
  6. Through God's grace we are free to worship and express our beliefs.
  7. Worship is a joyful celebration of God's presence where God's inspiration fills us with hope, love and determination.
  8. God gives us unique gifts to share with others and to enrich our lives through prayer, Bible Study, and fellowship.
  9. God calls us to be ministers to ALL people.
