Cornerstone Presbyterian Church has a very active Music Ministry. At the heart of this music ministry is the Cornerstone Choir, under the leadership of our Director of Music, Mr. Bob Burkhardt.
A bit about Mr. Burkhardt
Bob Burkhardt has over 30 years of experience as a music teacher and professional musician. As the Director of Music for Cornerstone Presbyterian church Bob oversees the choir, our annual Christmas cantata, an annual Broadway revue show, and the music for sunday morning worship.
A bit about the Cornerstone Choir
During the fall/winter season, the Cornestone Choir performs weekly at our 9:30 Sunday morning service. Our Anthem selections vary depending on the season, liturgical calendar, and events in progress. The Cornerstone choir has also been featured in three Christmas Cantatas ("Together for Christmas" in 2006, "Child of Peace" in 2007, "all is calm, all is bright" in 2008 "Joyful and Triumphant" in 2009, and "Joyful and Triumphant in 2009. In addition, the Cornerstone Choir was featured in the successive Brodway revue shows in May of 2008 and 2009. Our choir has participated in various community services in Jackson as well as at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvnia, and Toms River Presbyterian Church.
